Job summary

Amgen seeks a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for Cardiovascular Metabolic in the Southern Texas area. This field-based role engages cardiometabolic KOLs and healthcare decision-makers to communicate and advance scientific data aligned with Amgen's goals.

The role focuses on clinical value, outcomes, and payer perspectives, providing scientific engagement and supporting Amgen-sponsored research as needed. Extensive collaboration across cross-functional teams is expected.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree (required).
• Master's degree & 3 years of Medical Affairs experience (required).
• Bachelor's degree & 5 years Medical Affairs experience (required).

Responsibilities

• Engage with healthcare partners to educate and communicate clinical and scientific data to advance Amgen's scientific platform and align with organizational goals.
• Provide in-depth clinical and economic support to payers, IDNs, and formulary committees, sharing insights with internal teams.
• Lead and participate on project teams that support MSL strategies and tactics as delegated by MSL leadership.
• Lead and support congress activities in accordance with the strategy and may serve as congress lead.
