Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Medical Science Liaison for the Cardiovascular Metabolic area covering Fresno and the Central Valley, CA. This field-based role will engage with cardiometabolic leaders and decision-makers to communicate scientific data and advance Amgen's platform.

The MSL will educate providers and payers on clinical value, outcomes and economic data, support payer policy discussions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align with Amgen's goals.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree required or
• Master's degree with 3+ years in Medical Affairs
• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years in Medical Affairs

Responsibilities

• Interact with cardiometabolic opinion leaders and healthcare decision-makers to communicate and advance scientific platform.
• Educate and communicate clinical value, outcomes, and economic data to payers and providers.
• Support payer policy, IDN and formulary committees with insights on value evidence and reimbursement.
• Lead and participate on projects that support MSL strategies and tactics as directed by MSL leadership.
• Lead congress activities and serve as congress lead when assigned.
• Collaborate cross-functionally and maintain clinical expertise and training.

Education

Doctorate degree

Master's degree & 3 years of Medical Affairs experience

Bachelor's degree & 5 years of Medical Affairs experience
