Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Medical Science Liaison for Cardiovascular Metabolic to operate in the Fresno/Central Valley region. The role focuses on engaging with cardiometabolic leaders and decision-makers to communicate clinical and economic data and advance Amgen’s scientific platform in alignment with company goals.

The MSL will educate stakeholders on clinical value, outcomes, and reimbursement considerations, while supporting local educational plans and speaker programs.

Qualifications

• Experience in Medical Affairs with field-based roles.
• Strong communication of clinical data and value propositions.
• Ability to interact with payers, providers, and healthcare decision-makers.

Responsibilities

• Engage with healthcare partners to educate and communicate clinical and economic data.
• Educate on clinical value, outcomes, and economic data to payers, providers, and partners.
• Provide clinical and economic support to payers, IDNs, and formulary committees; share insights internally.
• Respond to unsolicited inquiries per MSL standards.
• Present field observations and insights to internal teams.
• Implement a scientific engagement plan aligned with MSL goals and metrics.
• Develop local OL plans in line with SEP.
• Support speaker training and updates on new data.
• Lead or participate on project teams supporting MSL strategies.
• Lead and support congress activities per strategy.
