Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 years clerical experience; 6 months in scheduling.
• Knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT coding; medical terminology helpful.

Responsibilities

• Schedule clinical appointments for patients with independent judgment.
• Coordinate laboratory tests and diagnostic testing.
• Assist with billing, TES, and medical coding as needed.
• Communicate with physicians, nurses, and outside labs to ensure complete testing.
• Provide excellent customer service and address patient questions and concerns.
