Job summary

Qualifications

• BLS certification required by AHA.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program is required.
• 1 year of experience preferred in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and rooms the patient for exam and records vital signs.
• Performs laboratory procedures using aseptic technique.
• Assists physicians with procedures and patient care tasks.
• Administers routine medications under orders or standing protocols.
• Ensures smooth clinic flow and clear communication with the patient.
