Job summary

Carilion Clinic in Christiansburg, VA, seeks a full-time Registered Nurse in Cardiology at CNRVMC. The RN will perform cardiac stress tests, monitor Holter/MCOT devices, and prep/recover patients for procedures such as heart cath and cardioversion.

The role requires Virginia RN licensure eligibility, BLS-HCP certification, and unit-specific ACLS/PALS as needed. Shifts include 8-hour or 10-hour days with on-call and weekend stress-testing coverage.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program eligible to sit for VA RN licensure.
• Licensed RN in Virginia or eligible to obtain Virginia RN licensure.
• BLS-HCP required; ACLS/PALS may be required based on unit.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for all ages.
• Document care and administer treatments and medications as ordered.
• Collaborate with care team to develop age-appropriate plans of care.
• Provide patient and family education and advocate for patients.
• Contribute to performance improvement and quality care.
