Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing and eligible for Virginia RN licensure.
• Virginia RN licensure or eligibility required; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required depending on unit.
• AHA BLS-HCP certification required; computer skills for EPIC EMR system essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac stress tests and place Holter/MCOT monitors.
• Prepare and recover patients undergoing heart procedures (catheterization, cardioversion).
• Coordinate nursing care, document in EMR, and educate patients and families.
• Collaborate with health care team to develop and adjust age-appropriate care plans.
