Job summary

Tryon Med in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Cardiology team at South Park. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, supporting the Cardiology Team with patient assessment, treatment planning, and coordination of care.

The ideal candidate holds an RN degree, an active RN license, CPR certification, and is prepared for potential ACLS requirements; vaccination records and TB testing are expected as part of credentialing.

Qualifications

• RN degree from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current state registered nurse license.
• CPR certification.
• ACLS certification may be required for Cardiology or related roles.
• Hepatitis B vaccine form completion is required.
• TB test will be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care including assessment, treatment, care planning and evaluation of care.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses.
• Document assessment and interventions using EHR and medical records.
• Educate patients and families about health status and disease management.
• Triage patient calls and direct to appropriate care sites as needed.
• Act as point person for emergencies and support staff to maintain patient flow.
