Job summary

Qualifications

• RN degree from an accredited program
• Current state RN license
• CPR certification current
• Maintain BLS certification (AHA/Red Cross)
• ACLS if role requires
• Hepatitis B vaccination completion form
• TB testing completed

Responsibilities

• Obtains patient consent and maintains confidentiality.
• Documents health history, chief complaint, vital signs, and risk factors.
• Provides care based on guidelines and standards of care.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors response.
• Be the point person for emergencies/triage walk-ins.
• Educates patients and families on health status and management of conditions.
• Documents assessments and interventions in medical records.
• Orders entry with EHR and maintains chart accuracy.
• Directs referrals to physicians and resources as needed.
• Assists with patient flow and other duties as assigned.
