Job summary

Advocate Health in High Point, NC is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for the Cardiology department. Schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with no weekends or holidays.

You will use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, monitor patient conditions, ensure safety, document in the EHR, and collaborate with the care team. Requires RN licensure, BLS, 2 years of clinical nursing experience; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where care is provided.
• BLS certification.
• Typically requires 2 years of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Monitors patient conditions and updates care plans; collaborates with the care team.
• Maintains safety culture and accurate EHR documentation.
• May administer medications and therapies per clinical protocols.
• Demonstrates effective communication, feedback, and delegation within the team.
• Pursues professional development and maintains required certifications.
• Adheres to ANA Code of Ethics and ensures ethical patient care.
• May be required to float to other units as needed.
