Job summary

Bayer in Eugene, Oregon seeks a Primary Care & Specialty Sales Consultant to execute sales strategies for CV and menopause products within Rogue Valley and southern Oregon. The role involves relationship building with HCPs, driving product utilization, and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

The incumbent will travel up to 30% within the territory and be residence-based, reporting to the CVR Area General Manager. A strong background in pharma sales and ethics is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales.
• Proven track record of high performance in sales and in building customer relationships.
• Ability to comply with customer credentialing and safety requirements, including vaccinations.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop professional relationships with primary care, endocrinology, nephrology, and pharmacy staff.
• Drive utilization of approved CV and menopause products and collaborate with Customer Squad to generate pull-through with local payers.
• Leverage knowledge of cardiovascular, diabetes and menopause markets to anticipate opportunities and challenges.
• Develop and implement customer-specific business plans and share insights with stakeholders.
• Prioritize coverage of physicians based on opportunity and potential.
• Adhere to Bayer ethics and compliance standards and address barriers to achieve goals.
• Possibly train others in the region on best practices and emerging technologies.
