Job summary

Bayer is seeking a Primary Care & Specialty Sales Consultant in the Eugene, Oregon area. You will implement sales strategies for Cardiorenal products and drive menopause launches, engaging primary care physicians, endocrinology and nephrology staff to grow pull-through with local payers.

The role reports to the CVR Area General Manager and travels up to 30% within the territory. Residency within Eugene area is required to cover the territory effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 10 years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
• Proven track record of high performance in a sales role.
• Proven ability to develop long-standing relationships with customers.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to comply with credentialing and safety requirements; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop professional relationships with primary care, endocrinology, nephrology and pharmacy staff within assigned customers.
• Drive appropriate utilization of approved CV and menopause products; collaborate with Customer Squad to generate pull-through.
• Leverage knowledge of cardiovascular, diabetes and menopause markets to anticipate opportunities and challenges.
• Provide input to sales leadership and regional account managers for strategic planning of territory, area, and region.
• Develop and implement customer-specific business plans; communicate insights to internal stakeholders.
