Inova Cardiology is seeking an Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) to join the team in a PRN day-shift role. The position supports clinic operations, with hours Monday through Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, and involves comprehensive patient care, education, and coordination within a physician practice.

The RN will perform intakes, med reconciliation, and stress testing, delivering holistic, patient-centered care while collaborating with the care team to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

• Education: BSN or ADN; BSN required within 5 years if ADN.
• RN license in VA or eligible to practice in VA.
• 0 years RN clinical experience.
• BLS by American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Performs essential duties to clinic or outpatient settings.
• Full Intakes
• Reconciliation of Medications
• Stress Testing (Regular, Echo and Nuclear)
• Provides safe/therapeutic care in a physician practice or other outpatient setting.
• Incorporates data to improve care and meet patient needs.
• Guides team with mentorship and direction to others.
• Ensures efficiency and productivity in care delivery.
• Makes independent clinical decisions based on education and experience.
