Job summary

Inova Health System in Fairfax, VA, is seeking an Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Neurology team as a PRN day shift. Clinic hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with responsibilities including full intakes, med reconciliations, and holistic patient care in a physician practice or outpatient setting.

The role requires a nursing degree (BSN preferred if ADN) and Virginia RN licensure or eligibility, plus BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Associate's Degree; BSN required within 5 years if ADN.
• Licensure: RN licensed or eligible to practice in Virginia.
• Experience: 0 years of RN clinical experience.
• Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association.
• Preferred: 1-2 years experience in neurology.

• Provides safe/therapeutic care in a holistic and systematic way in a physician practice or other outpatient setting.
• Incorporates data and information to improve care and enhances outcomes while ensuring improvements in practice settings.

• Ensures efficiency in the delivery of care and supports team to achieve maximum productivity.
