Inova Health - Pediatric Cardiology is seeking a dedicated Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This full-time day-shift position runs Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, with travel to VA satellite locations possible.

The role emphasizes comprehensive patient education, medication reconciliation, and high-quality holistic care in a pediatric cardiology outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or Associate’s Degree; BSN within 5 years if ADN.
• Licensure: RN licensed, or eligible to practice in Virginia.
• Experience: 0 years of RN clinical experience.
• Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Performs essential duties in outpatient clinic operations: full intakes, med reconciliation, patient education.
• Provides safe, holistic, evidence-based care in a physician practice setting.
• Guides team, ensures efficiency, and supports optimal productivity in care delivery.
• Makes independent clinical decisions using knowledge from education and experience.
