Job summary

Inova Health System is seeking an Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) for Cardiology to join our team. This full-time day shift runs Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm in a non-acute outpatient setting.

The role requires a BSN or ADN with BSN within 5 years, Virginia RN licensure, and BLS certification. You will perform intakes, med reconciliation, and stress testing, delivering holistic care with patient education.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Associate's Degree with BSN plan within 5 years.
• Licensure: RN licensed or eligible to practice in Virginia.
• Experience: 0 years of RN clinical experience required.
• Certification: BLS from American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Performs essential duties to clinic/non-acute operations.
• Complete full intakes and med reconciliation.
• Conduct stress testing (Regular, Echo, Nuclear).
• Provide safe, holistic care in a physician practice or outpatient setting.
• Guide others as a resource, preceptor and mentor.
• Ensure efficiency and prioritize patient care with team collaboration.
