Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree Nursing or Associate's Degree. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
• Licensure: RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience: 0 years of registered nurse clinical experience.
• Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Performs essential duties to clinic or non-acute operations including full intakes, reconciliation of medications, patient education, and stress testing (Regular, Echo and Nuclear).
• Provides safe/therapeutic care in a physician practice or other outpatient setting, integrating knowledge and skills to meet patient and family needs and education.
• Incorporates data to improve care and enhances outcomes while guiding others as a resource, preceptor and mentor.
• Makes independent clinical decisions based on education and experience.
