Responsibilities

• Phone Coverage: Answer and handle calls promptly with proper etiquette.
• Scheduling: Schedule patient appointments per guidelines and coordinate physician meetings if needed.
• Registration: Greet patients, collect time-of-service payments, verify demographics and insurance, register in the system.
• EMR: Enter information accurately into EMR and use EMR for prescriptions, notes, referrals, outreach, and check-out.
• May manage reporting, surgical scheduling, authorizations/referrals, and inventory.
