Job summary

Avante Group in Ocala, FL seeks a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner to diagnose and treat health conditions, promote preventive care, and oversee patient health in a skilled nursing facility setting.

You will lead a team of NPs, coordinate tests, review documentation, and provide coverage at other Florida facilities when needed, while advancing clinical knowledge through research and education.

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner license and current credentials.
• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in a skilled nursing facility.
• Experience in primary, acute, and chronic care.
• Knowledge of health care regulations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Willingness to travel within Florida.

Responsibilities

• Examine patients and medical records.
• Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays).
• Diagnose health conditions and illnesses.
• Prescribe medications.
• Lead and mentor NP team; supervise meetings and onboarding.
• Provide coverage at other Florida facilities as needed.
