Job summary

Avante Group in Boca Raton, FL seeks a Nurse Practitioner to diagnose and treat residents in a skilled nursing facility setting, providing primary and preventive care, ordering tests, and educating patients.

You will supervise and mentor NP staff, collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and help refine workflows and care protocols.

Occasional in‑state travel to coverage sites may be required to support Florida facilities.

Qualifications

• Proven NP in skilled nursing facility with at least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Expertise in primary, acute and chronic care.
• Knowledge of health care regulations.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong ethics and team spirit.
• Patience and cool-headedness.
• Willingness to continue gaining knowledge and clinical experience.
• Valid Nurse Practitioner license.

Responsibilities

• Examine patients and medical records.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Diagnose health conditions and illnesses.
• Prescribe medications and monitor therapies.
• Educate patients and families on diseases and prevention.
