The role emphasizes primary, acute, and chronic care, with emphasis on education, prevention, and research to improve clinical practice. In-state travel within Florida may be required.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience as Nurse Practitioner in a skilled nursing facility.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of primary, acute and chronic care practices.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork.

Aufgaben

• Examine patients and medical records.
• Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays).
• Diagnose health conditions and illnesses; propose treatments.
• Prescribe medications; maintain records.
• Educate patients and families on diseases and prevention.
• Lead and mentor NP team; supervise onboarding and training.
• Coordinate with facility leadership and other healthcare staff.
• Provide coverage at Florida facilities as needed.
