Job summary

Ascension Saint Agnes Heart Care in Baltimore, MD is hiring a Cardiologist for an employed, full-time position within a nonprofit health system. You will lead patient care journeys, perform TTE/TEE and nuclear stress tests, and collaborate with a robust cardiovascular network.

Join an established team of physicians and APPs, with a call structure of 1 week every 4–6 weeks and a mix of outpatient and inpatient responsibilities across the hospital and clinic settings.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology.
• Fellowship training in Cardiovascular Disease.
• Board Certification in Echocardiography preferred.

Responsibilities

How you’ll make an impact in this role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated Cardiologist to join a high-volume, employed practice with a robust internal referral base and the comprehensive diagnostic resources of the Ascension Saint Agnes cardiovascular network.

Join an established team of 8 physicians and 7 APPs

Call structure: 1 week every 4-6 weeks

Practice setting: Outpatient and inpatient

Employed position within a nonprofit health system

Lead comprehensive patient care journeys by balancing a dedicated outpatient practice with essential inpatient rounds to ensure continuity of care from the clinic to the bedside.

Deliver life-saving diagnostic insights through the expert performance and interpretation of TTE, TEE, and nuclear stress tests to guide precise treatment plans.

Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
• Board Certification in Echocardiography preferred
• Fellowship training in Cardiovascular Disease

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration: Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Maryland Board of Physicians obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required. Additional Preferences: Must be able to read or perform TTE, TEE, and nuclear stress tests
