Job summary

Ascension Saint Agnes Pulmonary Care in Baltimore, MD seeks a pulmonologist to join an expanding, employed team. The role features a 1:4 rotation with outpatient clinic weeks and inpatient consultations, plus teaching responsibilities and access to Robotic Bronchoscopy and EBUS technology.

The ideal candidate will be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary Disease or Pulmonary/Critical Care, with MD/DO credentials and MD licensure eligibility in Maryland.

Qualifications

• MD or DO credentialed to practice in Maryland.
• Fellowship training in Pulmonary Disease or Pulmonary and Critical Care.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary Disease or Pulmonary/Critical Care.
• Eligible for Maryland medical licensure and DEA registration.
• Advanced Life Support is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver balanced, full-spectrum pulmonary care across a structured 1:4 rotation.
• Balance outpatient clinic weeks with inpatient hospital consultations and procedures.
• Teach, mentor and supervise medical residents as part of daily practice.
• Utilize advanced tech such as Robotic Bronchoscopy and EBUS in patient care.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated Pulmonologist to join an expanding, employed team at Ascension St. Agnes. Offering a desirable 1:4 rotation that balances structured clinic weeks with dedicated inpatient consultation, this role features resident teaching and access to advanced tech like Robotic Bronchoscopy and EBUS. You will step into a busy, well-respected practice with high patient demand and the full resources of a robust health system.

• Join an established team of 4 physicians and 1 APP
• Deliver balanced, full-spectrum pulmonary care across a structured 4-week rotation, spending three weeks dedicated to manageable outpatient clinic days (12â15 patients) and one week focused on efficient inpatient hospital consultations and specialized procedures.
• Shape the future of medicine by actively teaching, mentoring, and supervising medical residents, embedding a strong educational component into your daily clinical practice
• Access to robotic bronchoscopies, EBUS technology, robust care management support, dedicated MA and Nurse Coordinator
• Employed position within a nonprofit health system

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Maryland Board of Physicians obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
