Job summary

Astrana Health is seeking a Medical Scribe - Cardiology to support providers, document encounters, and transcribe notes into the EHR. This in-office role combines clinical documentation with administrative coordination to keep clinic operations running smoothly.

You will enter ICD codes, write orders, ensure HIPAA compliance, and maintain accurate medical records. Applicants should have at least 1 year of scribing experience, a medical scribe certificate, and strong typing and Microsoft Office

Qualifications

• 1 year of scribing experience
• Completion of a medical scribe certificate
• Experience with transcription
• Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Responsibilities

• Observe patient-physician interactions and accurately transcribe patient notes into each patient’s electronic health record
• Enter ICD codes, write orders or referrals on behalf of the licensed healthcare provider
• Document care provided, tests ordered, prescriptions issued, care plan
• Adhere to HIPAA laws
