Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Compensation: $22.00 - $24.00 / hour

About the Role

The Medical Scribe / Clinical Assistant plays a vital role in supporting providers and delivering an exceptional patient experience. This position combines clinical documentation, patient care support, and administrative coordination to ensure efficient clinic operations and high-quality patient care.

What You'll Do

• Enter ICD codes, write orders or referrals on behalf of the licensed healthcare provider

You'll be great for this role if you have:

• At least 1 year of scribing experience
• Completion of a medical scribe certificate
• Experience with transcription
• Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Qualifications

• High school diploma
• Proficient understanding of medical terminology, CPT and ICD coding, HIPAA laws/ regulations, human anatomy/physiology
• Strong computer keyboard skills (60+ WPM)
• EMR competence
• Excellent navigation of multitasking, organization, and time management skills
• Possess advanced communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Capable of keeping up in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work in a team

Environmental Job Requirements And Working Conditions

• This position is located in-office. Cross-coverage across Monterey Park, City of Industry, Arcadia, and El Monte.
• The target pay range for this role is $21-$25/hr. This salary range represents our national target range for this role.
