Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Medical Assistant for the Medical Group Cardiology in Glenview, IL. You will support patient intake, measure vitals, and assist in exam rooms, with travel to other locations as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, CPR-BLS, and at least 1 year in a medical office. On-the-job training is provided; MA certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR-BLS certification required; MA certification preferred but not required.
• One year of work experience in a medical office or related field preferred; on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and escort them to exam rooms.
• Document vital signs, allergies, medications, and reason for visit.
• Perform basic vitals such as blood pressure, height and weight.
• Phlebotomy and injections as needed depending on specialty.
