Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Certification options CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA within six months of employment.
• BLS/CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient patient flow through the site; escort patients, take vitals, document visit details, and update allergy and medication history.
• Assist practitioners with ECGs, venipuncture, immunizations, and specimen collection per protocol.
• Prepare and stock exam rooms; maintain equipment, inventory vaccines/medications, and dispose of expired items.
• Promote patient satisfaction through professional interactions and effective communication with the patient care team.
• Perform delegated procedures safely and efficiently as directed by supervisors.
• Take on additional duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
