Job summary

Englewood Health in Clifton is seeking a Medical Assistant/Receptionist for a full-time day shift. The role supports patient care delivery, conducts patient interviews, handles registrations, and assists with routing patients to exam rooms to optimize physician time.

Requires HS diploma or equivalent; CMA/RMA/PCT certification preferred; CPR current. Experience with medical terminology and practice management systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience with medical terminology and practice management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivery of primary health and patient care management.
• Interview patients and representatives to obtain personal, demographic, and financial information.
• Perform routine clerical, secretarial and administrative tasks (answering phones, patient reception, data entry, record keeping).
• Assist with flow of patients from waiting area to exam rooms and prepare patients for physician time.
• Support efficient use of the physician’s time.

5 years of Medical Assistant/PCT experience
