Zusammenfassung

Englewood Health in Clifton, NJ seeks a Medical Assistant/Patient Care Technician to support primary care delivery in Cardiology. Under supervision, you will interview patients, collect demographic and financial information, and help manage registration and patient flow from waiting area to exam rooms.

Candidates should have experience with medical terminology and practice management systems; certification for injection administration is required.

Qualifikationen

Experience with medical terminology and practice management systems preferred.
Certification required for injection administration and medication documentation/handling.
Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant/Patient Care Technician program preferred.
Certification: CMA, RMA or PCT.
CPR certification current.

Aufgaben

Assist in delivery of primary health and patient care management.
Interview patients to obtain personal, demographic, and financial information and identification.
Answer telephones, receive the public, and perform registration-related data entry and records tasks.
Assist with patient flow from waiting area to exam rooms and prepare patients for physician's time.
Maintain familiarity with medical terminology and practice management systems.
