Job summary

Englewood Health, a leading healthcare system, seeks a Medical Assistant/Patient Care Technician to support primary care delivery. You will interview patients, assist with registration, and help move patients from waiting area to exam rooms to maximize physician efficiency.

Preferred candidates have MA/PCT training, CPR certification, and experience with medical terminology. Bilingual skills (Spanish or Korean) are a plus; shift is days, temporary full-time in Englewood, NJ.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent or 5 years MA/PCT experience.
• Completion of an accredited MA/PCT program preferred.
• Current CPR Certification; CMA/RMA/PCT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interviews patients or representatives to obtain personal, demographic and financial information.
• Assists in patient flow from waiting area to exam rooms and prepares patients for examinations.
• Performs routine clerical, data entry and record-keeping tasks related to patient registration.
