Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5 years MA/PCT experience preferred or completion of accredited MA/PCT program.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and patient care procedures.
• Proficiency with computer systems and medical record documentation.
• CPR preferred; CMA/RMA/PCT certification required for injections and medication documentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms and take patient histories and vitals.
• Assist with minor procedures and perform phlebotomy/EKG as ordered.
• Greet and assist patients/visitors, manage inquiries, and maintain confidentiality.
• Verify insurance eligibility, register and check in patients, and prepare visit documents.
• Maintain accurate patient files and scan documents into imaging systems.
• Support patient flow from waiting area to exam rooms and assist with administrative tasks.
