Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Medical Assistant for the Glenview GI clinic. This full-time role supports physicians, nurses and staff, facilitates patient flow, and assists with exams and procedures in a 40-hour work week from 7:30am–5:00pm.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current certification in one of CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA or NRCMA with onboarding timeframe.
• Zero to two years of experience in a relevant role.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required.

Aufgaben

• Ensure efficient patient flow through the clinic and assist with exam preparations.
• Assist practitioners with medical and minor surgical procedures (ECG, venipuncture, immunizations) as directed.
• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and manage vaccine/medication inventory.
• Provide patient-facing support and effective communication with care team.
• Perform delegated procedures safely and in accordance with protocols.
• Complete duties assigned by Supervisor or Manager.
