Job summary

Ascension is seeking a team-oriented individual to greet patients, check in and out, verify demographics, and manage documentation at the Londonderry Specialty Clinics in Waco, TX. The role includes obtaining insurance authorizations, scheduling appointments, and handling daily charge submissions and co-pays.

You will provide clerical support to the Cardiovascular department, aiding in release requests and maintaining accurate records while contributing to a patient-centered experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors, check patients in and out, and obtain necessary documentation.
• Obtain and verify insurance authorizations/precertification. Schedule/confirm patient appointments.
• Enter, review and submit charges for patient procedures and services daily. Collect co-payments and reconcile all daily reports and deposits for accuracy.
• Provide general office and clerical support to assigned area.
