Job summary

Valley Health System seeks a qualified Medical Assistant to operate under physician supervision, performing patient intake, blood draws, EKGs, and related tasks. The role requires MA certification and NJ-recognized training, with strong communication and teamwork to maintain efficient clinic operations.

The ideal candidate will possess BCN or AMT/AAMA/NCCT certification as required, BCLS preferred at hire, and a commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant as per NJ recognized boards.
• BCLS certification preferred at hire and required where applicable.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, ability to work with diverse age groups.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient intake and documentation in EMR.
• Perform blood draws and EKGs as directed by supervising physician.
• Make pharmacy calls and coordinate tests per physician orders.
• Contribute to efficient clinic workflow and high-quality patient care.
