Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Iowa or compact state.
• Current BLS certification as per AHA standards.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire; training provided.
• Iowa Dependent Adult Abuse & Iowa Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter training completed.

Responsibilities

• Triages patients in person or by phone.
• Schedules appointments and coordinates provider intervention as needed.
• Phlebotomy and specimen collection as ordered; monitor lab results.
• Performs EKGs and monitors vitals; administers meds/injections as directed.
• Documents care accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
• Assists with diagnostic procedures and coordinates care among staff and providers.
• Supports clinic operations and patient education on diagnoses and treatments.
• Maintains equipment and ensures infection control and safety standards.
