Job summary

Qualifications

Licensed RN in Iowa or compact state.
Current BLS certification as per AHA standards.
ACLS required within 6 months of hire; training provided.
Iowa Dependent Adult Abuse & Iowa Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter training completed.

Responsibilities

Triages patients in person or by phone.
Schedules appointments and coordinates provider intervention as needed.
Phlebotomy and specimen collection as ordered; monitor lab results.
Performs EKGs and monitors vitals; administers meds/injections as directed.
Documents care accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
Assists with diagnostic procedures and coordinates care among staff and providers.
Supports clinic operations and patient education on diagnoses and treatments.
Maintains equipment and ensures infection control and safety standards.
