Mercy Cedar Rapids is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide nursing support that aligns with Mercy’s patient-centered philosophy and supports positive patient outcomes. You will triage patients, assist with exams, document care in the EHR, and coordinate with providers to ensure high-quality care.

This role requires current RN licensure in Iowa (or compact state) and BLS certification, with ACLS within 6 months.

Qualifikationen

• Registered nurse licensure in Iowa or a compact state.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.

Aufgaben

• Triages patients in person or by telephone.
• Schedules appointments and determines need for provider intervention.
• Liaises between providers and patients and supports the practice.
• Manages patient calls regarding test results and treatment instructions.
• Performs phlebotomy and specimen collection as ordered.
• Documents care accurately in the EHR and follows safety protocols.
• Assists with diagnostic procedures and treatments as directed.
