Responsibilities

• Triage patients in person or by phone; schedule appointments and route to providers as needed.
• Assist with phlebotomy, vitals, EKGs, exam preparation, and specimen collection.
• Document in EHR and ensure patient education about tests and procedures.
• Administer meds/injections per protocol and monitor for adverse effects.
• Provide bedside care and assist providers during procedures in the Cardiology clinic.
