Job Summary
  • Develop and implement a territory business plan aligned with the DEFINITY Marketing and Sales strategy to optimize effectiveness and achieve sales targets.
  • Identify customer needs, utilize marketing resources effectively, overcome objections, and advance the sales process.
  • Build and sustain relationships with key stakeholders across various settings, including sonographers, medical directors, and purchasing directors.
  • Maintain and apply clinical, competitive, and marketplace knowledge in sales activities.
  • Communicate the economic benefits of LMI products to financial stakeholders, support reimbursement, and manage local contracts as needed.
  • Provide education on echo contrast to cardiology fellowship programs and ultrasound schools.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external resources to address business challenges and propose solutions benefiting customers and patients.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including marketing resources, training materials, sales tactics, and analytics tools.
  • Participate actively in sales meetings, training sessions, and industry events.
  • Uphold Lantheus values of accountability, quality, customer service, efficiency, collaboration, and safety.
  • Ensure compliance and uphold high ethical standards in promoting Lantheus products.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • At least 5 years of successful sales experience in pharmaceuticals, biotech, medical devices, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM, and video conferencing tools.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of presenting clinical information persuasively.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to develop and implement effective strategies quickly.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in hospital sales.
  • Proven success in cardiovascular sales or clinical cardiology.
  • Existing network within local healthcare organizations.
Additional Requirements
  • Field-based role requiring overnight travel, including in-person customer interactions and industry events.
  • Ability to meet call metrics and other territory-specific requirements.
  • Valid driver's license, vehicle, and insurance.
  • Credentialing for medical facility access, including vaccinations as required.
