Delphos, OH (ASP) - Ammonia production & filling
Owosso, MI (ASP) - Ammonia production & filling

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

Do you excel at building lasting relationships? Do you understand that sales is more about showing your customer the value proposition than about price? Do you have experience selling industrial products? If yes, this role might be perfect for you!

Airgas is seeking an Account Manager supporting our Specialty Products business. You will own your territory, manage existing customer relationships, develop new prospects, and maintain gross margins. Candidates should be able to convert prospects into long-term customers.

This position is remote; candidates should reside in Delphos, OH, Indianapolis, IN, or Detroit, MI, to facilitate travel for customer meetings.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with current customers.
  • Develop and build relationships with prospects to keep the sales funnel full.
  • Prepare complex bids showcasing our value proposition.
  • Prepare quotes, supply agreements, and internal documentation.
  • Report on business transactions and expenses.
  • Develop strong internal relationships with operations.
  • Generate a territory business plan regularly.
  • Maintain sales activity reports using Excel and our CRM system.
  • Travel overnight as needed to manage the sales territory.
  • Perform other key tasks as assigned.
Are you a MATCH?

Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) preferred. Minimum 3 years of experience selling industrial, food, or chemicals to businesses. Technical knowledge is a plus.
