Job description

Lantheus, headquartered in Bedford, Massachusetts, with offices in New Canada and Sweden, has been a pioneer in medical imaging for over 60 years. The company specializes in innovative diagnostics, targeted therapeutics, and AI solutions that empower clinicians in patient care.

Summary of Role:

  1. Develop and implement a territory business plan aligned with the DEFINITY Marketing and Sales strategy to achieve sales targets.
  2. Identify customer needs and utilize marketing resources to address them, overcoming objections and progressing sales.
  3. Build and sustain relationships with key stakeholders (e.g., sonographers, medical directors, pharmacy directors).
  4. Maintain and apply clinical, competitive, and market knowledge in sales activities.
  5. Communicate the economic benefits of LMI products, support reimbursement, and manage local contracts as needed.
  6. Provide echo contrast education to cardiology training programs and ultrasound schools.
  7. Collaborate with internal teams and external resources to address business challenges and propose solutions.
  8. Contribute to ongoing improvements in marketing materials, training, sales tactics, and analytics.
  9. Participate actively in meetings, calls, and training sessions.
  10. Uphold Lantheus values: accountability, quality, customer service, efficiency, collaboration, and safety.
  11. Ensure compliance and uphold ethical standards in promoting products.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • At least 5 years of successful sales experience in relevant industries.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM, and video conferencing tools.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of presenting clinical information persuasively.
  • Ability to identify problems, develop strategies, and implement solutions quickly.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in hospital sales.
  • Successful cardiovascular sales or clinical cardiology background.
  • Existing network within local healthcare organizations.

Other Requirements:

  • Field-based role with overnight travel, including in-person customer interactions and industry events.
  • Must meet call metrics and other territory-specific requirements.
  • Valid driver's license, vehicle, and insurance required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain facility credentials, including vaccinations.
