About the Role

OEM Account Manager Fluids – Fully Remote (Southeastern Michigan)

Remote (Southeastern Michigan) with local customer travel

Join our client, a multi-billion dollar global company with sales and service centers worldwide, specializing in fluid systems products for industries such as industrial, commercial, manufacturing, gas exploration, biotech, power, and chemical/petrochemical.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage and grow a portfolio of OEM and industrial accounts.
  2. Build trusted relationships with engineers and purchasing teams face-to-face.
  3. Provide technical consultation and solutions for complex fluid system needs.
  4. Identify and close new business opportunities within your territory.
  5. Operate independently from a home office with local travel to customer sites.
Required Experience
  1. 5–10 years of experience in commercial sales selling fluid systems products/services to industries like industrial, commercial, manufacturing, gas exploration, biotech, power, or chemical/petrochemical.
  2. Experience selling products such as pumps, HVAC equipment, compressors, fluid handling products, piping, fittings, valves, regulators, hoses, flexible tubing, or custom assemblies.
  3. Proven ability to build and grow client relationships.
  4. Confident, consultative sales style with strong presentation skills.
  5. Degree preferred (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering), but not mandatory.
  6. Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings as required.
  7. Work from home with local travel; self-managed environment.
  8. Interest in sustainable industries like battery tech and hydrogen.
  9. Strong US-based manufacturing footprint.
