Job summary

ExcelliSearch, Inc. is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Cardiologist for a physician-led group in Suffolk County, Long Island. Flexible hours, Monday-Friday, no call, with a highly competitive compensation package.

The cardiology team focuses on clinical excellence, patient satisfaction, and multidisciplinary collaboration, offering leadership opportunities and robust support within a strong EMR environment.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with active or eligible cardiology certification.
• License or eligibility to practice in New York State.
• Strong diagnostic, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality cardiac care as a key clinical provider.
• Perform history taking, physical exams and interpret tests.
• Manage acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions using evidence-based practices.
• Create individualized treatment plans for long-term heart health.
• Educate patients on diagnoses, options and prevention strategies.
• Document thoroughly in the EMR system.
• Collaborate with referring physicians and care teams for seamless care.
• Provide oversight to nurses and staff and mentor trainees.
• Adhere to HIPAA, NYS DOH, CMS and payer guidelines.
• Participate in population health initiatives and quality improvement.
