Job summary

Vogrinc Search Group is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Cardiologist for a Suffolk County, Long Island practice. This physician-led group emphasizes clinical excellence, patient satisfaction, and collaborative care.

The role offers a highly competitive compensation package ($500K-$700K annually) with flexible hours, no on-call requirements, and opportunities for leadership within a supportive, multidisciplinary team environment.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with active or eligible board certification in Cardiology.
• Licensed (or eligible) to practice in New York State.
• Strong diagnostic, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Team-oriented with patient-centered care approach.
• Familiarity with EMRs and value-based metrics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality cardiac care as a core clinical provider.
• Perform comprehensive assessments and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Manage acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions using evidence-based care.
• Develop individualized treatment plans for long-term heart health.
• Educate patients on diagnoses, options, and preventive strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR system.
• Collaborate with referring physicians and care teams to ensure seamless care.
• Provide clinical oversight to nurses, technologists, and staff.
• Mentor trainees including students and interns.
• Ensure HIPAA, NYS DOH, CMS and payer guideline compliance.
• Participate in population health initiatives and quality improvement.
