Job summary

Essenti Talent seeks a Board-Certified Cardiologist for a Suffolk County practice. The position features flexible hours, Monday–Friday, no on-call requirements, and a collaborative cardiology team focused on delivering excellent patient care.

The successful candidate will lead clinical evaluation, manage both acute and chronic heart conditions, and contribute to population health initiatives while leveraging strong EMR documentation and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with active or eligible board certification in Cardiology.
• Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in New York State.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key clinical provider in the delivery of high-quality cardiac care.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments including history taking, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic tests.
• Manage acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions using evidence-based practices.
• Create and oversee individualized treatment plans that promote long-term heart health.
• Provide clear communication and education to patients regarding diagnoses, options, and preventive strategies.
• Maintain thorough documentation within the EMR system.
• Collaborate with referring physicians and care teams to ensure seamless patient care.
• Provide clinical oversight to nurses and support staff.
