Responsibilities include confirming appointments, updating patient records and hospital cards, and communicating essential information to providers.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-3 years clerical experience in a physician office preferred.
• Computer knowledge such as Medical Office and Scheduling Applications preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Schedule appointments and diagnostic tests/procedures for patients at Baptist Health Cardiovascular/Vascular Services.
• Obtain registrations, insurance, referrals and pre-certifications as needed.
• Confirm appointments and hospital procedures, update hospital cards and notify providers of changes.
• Verify accuracy of scheduling in the electronic scheduling system.
