RWJBarnabas Health in New Brunswick, NJ is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cardio Progressive Care Telemetry Unit (6 Tower). This part-time, day-shift role offers an hourly wage range of $49.03 to $72.39 depending on education and experience, with strong clinical teamwork and opportunities for growth.

You'll perform comprehensive assessments, administer medications, document in EPIC, and collaborate with physicians and care teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient care in a 34-bed

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification preferred or to be obtained within 6 months of employment.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing strongly preferred or to be completed within 5 years of hire.
• 1–2 years of RN experience in acute care preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) such as EPIC.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes.
• Provide safe, evidence-based medications, treatments, and hands-on care.
• Collaborate with physicians and advanced providers for coordinated care.
• Educate patients and families to ensure understanding of care plans.
• Document accurately and timely in the electronic medical record.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and care transitions.
• Contribute to a collaborative team culture and ongoing professional growth.
