Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Cardio Prog Care/Telemetry at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. This part-time night shift role requires strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and dedication to patient-centered care in a fast-paced cardiac telemetry unit.

You will assess patients, administer evidence-based treatments, document meticulously in EPIC, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes and safety.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing and BLS on hire; ACLS within 120 days; CCRN preferred.
• ASN required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes.
• Provide safe, evidence-based medications, treatments and hands-on care.
• Collaborate with physicians and advanced providers for timely, well-coordinated care decisions.
• Provide clear, compassionate education to patients and families.
• Accurately document in the EMR (EPIC) to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds to support transitions of care.
