Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiovascular Medical Surgical Telemetry unit at Glenbrook Hospital in Glenview. This full-time role may include a rotating weekends schedule and requires attention to patient safety and quality care.

The RN will use the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate care, supervise unlicensed staff, and collaborate with the health care team to achieve optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL
• NLN accredited school of nursing
• BSN strongly preferred
• BLS/CPR Certification for the Healthcare Provider
• Prior nursing or CNA experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for a patient population on a specific unit
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care
• Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
• Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience
