Job summary

Responsibilities include handling orders, admissions and discharges, maintaining bed and scheduling records, and supporting safety and compliance in a fast-paced cardiac unit.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively and document information accurately.
• Ability to deal with a wide variety of individuals.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates nursing staff, patient, physician and other departments to ensure smooth unit function.
• Performs receptionist and clerical duties to support unit efficiency.
• Manages orders, admissions, discharges, and bed tracking.
• Maintains daily unit reports and patient charts.
• Orders supplies and collaborates with Operations to manage par levels.
• Supports safety and compliance and patient-family centered care.
