Job summary

A healthcare provider in Wilson, North Carolina, is seeking a dedicated Sonographer to join their Health Support Center team. The ideal candidate will have an Associate degree in Radiologic Science and ARRT (R) & (S) licenses. This full-time position offers a rotating schedule with various comprehensive benefits, including medical coverage, PTO, and professional development. Qualifications

• Current ARRT (R) & (S) license required.
• Graduate of CAAHEP/JRC-DMS approved School of Cardiac or Vascular Sonography.
• Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Graduate of a CAAHEP/JRC-DMS approved School of Cardiac or Vascular Sonography or related credential preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and initiates image quality control.
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation.

A Sonographer (RT (S))who excels in this role:

• Identifies and initiates image quality control
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record

What we’re looking for

Applicants should have a current ARRT (R) & (S) license and possess an Associate degree in Radiologic Science. Additional requirements include:

• Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
• Must be ARRT Registered Radiologic technologist and in good standing.
• Graduate of a CAAHEP/JRC‑DMS approved School of Cardiac or Vascular Sonography or an AAS degree in Radiologic Science or other healthcare related degree with appropriate credential.
